Course Description
This training event provides hands-on skill review for up to 20 professionals. The team will provide a review of current emergency action plans (practice facility and game day) with in-person discussion with current designated sports medicine staff. The program begins with an initial review of team member skills. Lab sessions will involve actual practice of skills with review of each scenario to assess participants. Challenging scenarios will be developed to maximize learning. Lab sessions are led by professionals qualified for such emergency training.

- Review basic skills for BVM, OPA/NPA
- Review basic skills for Cervical Spine Injury/Equipment laden
- Review basic skills for On-field airway management/SCA
- Review basic skills for Truncal hypotensive with abdominal trauma
- Review basic skills for major low leg fracture
- Review basic skills for exertional heat stroke
